If Judas did not do what he did then Jesus would not have died on the cross for the redemption of mankind.
Just think how different Christianity would be now if Jesus died for your sins in his sleep of heart failure at the ripe old age of 76... not very meaningful is it?

It would be the correct action taken if Jesus told dad to kill the man who raped his daughter.... this is what I am getting at....

"The rest of your question shows your ignorance, and insincerity."

This only deepens my feelings towards my fellow Christians. We are supposed to love and care about others, but most Christians will be the first to look down upon his fellow man.
What makes you think that I am ignorant? Could it be you who is close minded? Jesus suffering on the cross is what Christianity was built upon.

Actually Judas is not an evil person if you could only understand the bible. In the prophecy, it was in the person of Judas who has acted to be a traitor to Jesus Christ when he was responsible for the arrest of Jesus by the Jews soldiers and nailed him to the cross and that was written in the prophecy. When Judas came to realized his mistake, he threw the money given to him and killed himself by hanging. He has repented his wrong doings for being a traitor to Jesus Christ but that is without his intention of doing it.

In connection with the death of Christ for our sins, it is a a reminder that man should not commit sin against God anymore after his death, but man is really hardheaded and still want to disobey God. Some do not even believe in him of His being existed as God who created Heaven and earth.

Since man continuous to commit sin against God
He has given us warning in case we will not reform, read this verses in the bible:

Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

You are absolutely correct. If Judas hadn't done what he did, Jesus night not have dies on the Cross, the Bible would than have false prophecies, and Christianity would be non-existent because Jesus could not have died for our sins. The actions by Judas WERE momentous, I agree with that as well.

However, that does NOT earn him the right of sainthood. He was still, many believed, possessed then betrayed (as usual) by Satan, and he stll committed a hideous crime against a good, innocent man. He still hung himself instead of seeking God's abundant mercy and forgiveness.

Was Pharoah a saint because he let the people of God go after God sent the ten plagues on Egypt? Judas did what he did because his heart was hard. That was not God's will but God will be known by his judgments if he isn't known by his mercy.

If a dad kills the person that rapes his daughter, can we understand why he did what he did? SURE we can.. Does this make his actions right or legal? NO.

Even though his actions were necessary for the completion of the Will of GOD, GOD had to find someone that would be willing to do such an aweful thing... His heart was not pure, or he would not have even considered it. Do you think Peter or the other diciples would have done this? No.. Judas was chosen by Jesus because he knew he was capable of doing such a thing, from the very beginning.

Note to your above edit:

Jesus told him to do what he had to do, and he revealed who it was that was going to betray him but he did not directly tell him to betray him. Jesus knew he was to betray him before the day he asked him to follow him.... that is why he asked him.. his heart was not pure and he was capable of doing this deed.

I understand what you are saying.. If you are obeying a commandment of the Saviour, how can he be thought of as evil, but he was directly commanded to do what he did.

Just because God can use an evil act for a good purpose doesn't change the evil nature of the act. If someone tried to run another person over and it resulted in the second person finding a diamond ring while jumping out of the way, that doesn't change the culpability of the first person.

I think It's something that he must bare all over the time. I think actually he is a nice person but somebody has to do it so there could be a redemption. But christians cannot accept that since he do it for piece of gold. Even according to some literature, an evil spirit make him do that...

Well I know what you are saying. You are not the first to ask this. It is a fair question. Jesus himself said Judas had satin in him. I mean the person that sold out Jesus, do you think he is a saint? Really?

I do not think of him as evil, but as a sinner. I think after the Crucifixion of Jesus, Jesus went to hell and set the captives free and I do think we will see Judas in heaven.

The rest of your question shows your ignorance, and insincerity.

i think it's because Judas betrayed Jesus and then killed himself instead of repenting and trusting in God's forgiveness. Peter also denied Jesus, but he trusted in God's grace and forgiveness.

Maybe...but then...maybe not.
He was a betrayer..he did sell God for 30 pieces of silver..
Silver! not even gold!
Then..he uh..committed suicide.
He was also complaining about how the money was being spent as he held the money bag for the ministry and was likely stealing too...
Somehow..I don't think he is "saint" material!
