Yes. Spring is the perfect time to start painting again. Everything blooms, the sun shines, love is in the air. When I paint in spring, I just glance around, and smell the warm spring aroma around me and get inspired.
Try it.

Just 4 months? That isn't procrastinating that is hibernation. You only started to procrastinate after you asked this question :)

Wake up first, smell some roses and feel the need to paint again.

I can top that. I am a self taught artist and i had just started learning to paint with oils, but because of my long hours at work sometimes six or seven days a weeks i stopped painting for some nine years. I restarted and am now going on a year and a half, managing to get good enough to get commissions. At the moment i don't see the incentive to get involved with a gallery, i'm having too much fun. My art work can be checked out at hellosanantonio.com under artist name ''Guerro''.

I would start. I paint things in winter because everything's really pretty - but spring is also a great season to paint all the blooms and such.

If you choose to procrastinate then feel free - but don't be too late! :)
