How do you know there aren't God loving people here that maybe he is using to get an answer to someone asking a question?? Yes we should always come to the Lord for everything but how can you come to him if you don't know him? He can move through Yahoo just as easily as anywhere else!! No offense, but do you think telling everyone on yahoo you think their asking questions is "pretty stupid" (your words) is showing God's love?? I can't imagine Jesus calling anyone stupid, or trying to make them feel stupid. I know your heart is in the right place, but maybe you should ask the Lord for gentle words from a loving spirit.. God Bless

You're right...and wrong. If the question is really personal, then they need to ask someone close to them, or someone who has a professional opinion, like a priest, pastor or other church leader. But, what about the person who doesn't have anyone to ask? What about the person who can't trust anyone around him to be straight with them? What about someone who's going through a rough time, and just needs some answers? I understand where you're coming from, little one. I love God too, and serve Him to the best of my knowledge and with my whole heart. But, just like you're now expressing your feelings, everyone else has this same right. That's part of why I'm on this site...to help others see "the light", no matter what it is they're asking. Even if they just want a recipe, I do the best I can. When you establish a relationship with someone, you then have the right to speak. That's how it is in the biker world (I belong to CMA...Christian Motorcyclists Association). I've developed a relationship with many people on this site, and I take that very seriously. I try to treat them all with the respect that's due to them. I know that they appreciate my honesty and straightforwardness. I'm glad I'm there for them. While I agree that some questions need to be handled by professionals, sometimes there's just not one around when you need one. Sometimes you just gotta throw your question out there and see how it comes back. I've asked very few questions on here. Not because I think I've got all the answers. I have a network of friends and family that help me through what I need. Not everyone has that. If you have that, blessings on you. There are many that don't. Let's help them, huh? <*)))><

If you believe in what you are saying then why are you on this forum? Do not tell me it is to answer questions because according to you "God should be doing that". Your advise is not harsh, because everybody does what they do for their own reasons....for me I like to hear what people have to say. There is good stuff and bad stuff but through reading it all you get a general idea.
You are one of those people that you are talking about in your question....you are right we do not know you or what kind of person you are. How do we know you are not just some psycho?

Well, the last time I checked when you talk to God (whichever one you wish) he has a habit of not answering back. If he does talk back to you, then you have schizophrenia, not a religious experience.
SO no, I doubt you are right. Ever think maybe a personal question is to personal to share with those closest to you and you see everyday? Thats where places like this come in handy. You can ask, and not ever have to meet the answerers or but up with their crap. Maybe 90 percent of the people here a idiots and royal jerks, but there is the 10 percent who are intelligent and seem kind enough to give you an honest answer.
Don't get all cocky about "the truth hurts" idea of yours. Odds are, you are pretty far from right dude. Ask your God what he thinks about your arrogance.

well,i don think ur being wise. u cant turn everything to god n do nothing. u hav to work for it as well. n to use this yahoo answer thingy IS one of the way that shows how u work for it. y don u try when u can? y don u take the opportunity when u hav the chance? its worth trying rite,at least ur working for it. but then again u cant only depends on the answers here. so,i think the best is to talk to god n ask ppl as well. god's answer might be in anything,it can even be one of the answer that a stranger gav u here. i mean, who knows rite. u'll never know........so my answer is,ur not right.

God isn't the only answer out there. Sometimes seeking the advice from strangers is what helps people the most. And if you think it's pretty stupid for others to give advice and answer people, why are YOU here?
Are you right? No, no you're not. You're merely stating your opinion. You're just one of millions and really aren't anything special in the grand scheme of things. Get over yourself and get used to it.
EDIT:
Why are all the honest, legit answers getting thumbs down? Did the truth hurt that much for our original poster?

Asking god to help you is a very good. I do that my self. I ask him to help all the time. People who ask good questions on here need to get good advice. You have been throu a problem then you ask on here how to get throu it and some one has been there before, they might actually help you.. Some times its good to ask people you dont know and you may never see them. But you should always ask god to help you and have him in your life.

Not really my friend. I really love got to will be ordained as a pastor in just a few days. I have heard God speak, but the Bible also says that in the counsel of many. There is wisdom. That's in Proverbs, you should read it

We're all humans on here, and many of us have had the same types of experiences. As such, it's not unreasonable to look for advice and suggestions from people who may have been through something similar.
We weren't put on earth to be isolated from each other.

I think you're right. I mean, I'd suggest asking a friend, as it might be hard getting a response if you ask God. But whatever floats your boat.
