can u love someone u've never met?

i know this girl through some website n after sometimes,she said she rely loves me. she doesnt even know how do i look like or who am i for real. now,we just email each other n she wants me 2 be her bf. i told her that this might not work n everything cuz i live rely far from her but she kept saying that we could try n she believes that im the rite guy for her. so,i blindly said yes to her n so far,we just talk like normal with all the 'i love u' words. i don know where is this gonna end. do u rely think its gonna work? how is that possible?

long distance relationships never work out! how do you know she doesnt have a real boyfriend where she lives now? how do you know she isnt a guy?

If you have doubts and don't think it can work then you need to end it. I don't believe you can love someone you've never met, you can only love the idea of them..when you don't have to deal with seeing the person you can make up all kinds of scenarios in your head on what would it be like if you were together in the same room, and that's probably why she thinks she loves you. It would be better and healthier if you had a girlfriend you could be with in person.

yeah how is that possible when you two haven't seen even picture? are you both not using even web cam? well i don't want to judge you both, but maybe in my case i can't love someone that i haven't see even just a picture or web cam. i have on line bf also were almost on our one year, but we talk a lot, we used to talk almost everyday except now that he is super busy. but we use web cam always and exchanging pictures. i talk to his best friend and brother too. and almost his friends knows about me. and i think these are some ingredients to have a good relationship on line, although its hard really because we are far away. but in your part, you only one who can answer if will going to work. are you really do it seriously? or just want to have fun, because sometimes playing mystery is really fun and exciting. but then again, i guess you better get to know more better. but if you two just stop from from there, then i am sure it will not work. good luck.

So many people loose their sight each year as kids and later on will still find love . How is this possible if they can't see who they are loving ?????? Hm mm lets think about this while I slap you silly you dumb %^& . If you feal it in your heart don't screw it up by thinking about it go for it if it works great if not try again next time it took me 42 yrs to find her don't make the sam mistakes I did . now call her and tell her you love her and I said hi and good luck to both.

well um. im in almost the same situation as you right now. i met this girl through a friend and we haven't even met. we have the same interests. we say i love you to each other because we feel like it was meant to be. for me, i can say that i definetly love this girl. it's different for everyone so i think that you should hold off on the i love you's until you've met.

omfg dump her let me tell you a lttle story about what happened to a close personal friend of mine .... alright so he starts talking to this girl on one of those video things where you play video games and can commminucate with others and then alll of a sudden she asks for his screenname so they can talk outside of the game ....they start talking and she starts to really like him and he is feeling the same for her ...she starts sending him pictures of herself naked and things get kind of serious(keep in mind they still have not met) alright so she asks him to meet her at this train station near so he sneaks out if his room and takes a taxi all the way to the train station ... his parents go into his room and find out he is missing they immediatly get worried and call the police the police later find him at the train station and bring him home..he had to tell his parents about everything and they tracked down the computer and found out it belonged to a 40 year old man who was using his daughter as a puppet for young teenagers -- this girl might be for real but i would not take that chance there are plenty of other safe fish in the sea

Nah that definetly wont work at all. Neither both of you have no idea of how the other one looks, yeah it may be true that what counts is inside but come on we all know thats bull****. Its like if you would go around with a really overweight girl just because she is just "nice" inside. Just let it go, it wont work.

It is possible to love someone you have never met face to face. Love knows no boundaries. You fall in love with somebody for who they are on the inside (their personality, heart, and soul etc..) so you don't technically ever need to SEE the person to fall in love with those qualities. Talking to someone is alot more meaningful than looking at them because looks do not equal love, only lust.

it is possible --- you must be aware of scams from countries like Nigeria so if she starts asking for money be careful ---- if you dont feel a connection with her then there may not be anything there long term ---- at some point you will have to meet but before then get some webcam chat -- that will show you she is real and who she says she is

you can ask for her picture. and if you really don't want to be with her, send her your picture - something knarly and something that is a pretty sure thing to question her love for you.
