i want to scan some pics to my yahoo page but dont know how to!HELP

i have a scanner/printer a canon mp160 to be exact and i cant find out how to scan a pic and not print it so i canput it on my yahoo page.

More than likely, you are pressing the wrong button. Sounds like you have an all-in-one machine and you are pressing one of the COPY buttons (usually B&W or COLOR).
You need to press the SCAN button (if any) or look through the All Programs menu and find the scanner control panel. That will allow you to scan a picture and save it as a file.

more information needed,are u using just a scanner,or a combo printer scanner?..they all should actually work basically the same,scan the pic,open the file and "save as" ( you type the name)..you can save it just about anywhere on your pc.

hey ciara its me michelle well how i scan pics is i usually do wat other people do you know normal people haha jk okay well you open up the top put the pic in there and press scan button and it should scan it for ya and if not ask me at school ill be more than happy to answer any of your questions!

scan them and save as a jpeg .. then they should upload ..
