Traditionally, the fifth anniversary gift is wood - candlesticks,
a tree for the yard, a rocking chair.
What does she really like? Get something that goes with her hobbies, or will make life easier.
Do NOT buy her something you like if you aren't sure she will
[ crockpot, vacuum cleaner, golf clubs ].
You can always fall back on : candy, flowers, jewelry, perfume, spa treatments, or a weekend vacation.

The traditional says wood. Most give silverware.
I personally hate gifts for my home. Those I buy myself.
I love a trip with my husband as a gift from him. Romance is not dead - if you can not leave a romantic night together & a nice gown & robe (her taste not yours).
Jewelry is good at this point in marriage. After 33 years, I pray not to get more jewelry - haha.
