What does she really like? Get something that goes with her hobbies, or will make life easier.
Do NOT buy her something you like if you aren't sure she will
[ crockpot, vacuum cleaner, golf clubs ].
You can always fall back on : candy, flowers, jewelry, perfume, spa treatments, or a weekend vacation.

I personally hate gifts for my home. Those I buy myself.

I love a trip with my husband as a gift from him. Romance is not dead - if you can not leave a romantic night together & a nice gown & robe (her taste not yours).
Jewelry is good at this point in marriage. After 33 years, I pray not to get more jewelry - haha.
