I cant help with your answers b/c i don't have that done...however its interesting b/c while i was getting my first tat a while back, there was a girl that came in and had some scribing from a book tatt'ed on the inside of her lower lip, i swear i thought she was crazy at first but i watched her get it done and she didn't even move at all, when it was over i talked to her about it and she said that was her first tattoo and she told me that it really didn't hurt at all and that she was surprised...I don't know what they told her about healing, etc so you might want to check around for someone that either has it done, or an artist that has done one to be sure b/c of where it is and staying moist i would think that it would be prone to infection alot easier but good luck, that is one random place and i thought hers looked really cool, i would just be scared to try it!! :)

I know a guy who has lettering on the inside of his lip (I can't remember anymore what it said), but he told me when he showed me that it was a fairly common place to put a prison tattoo, since prison tattoo's are illegal and inside the mouth is pretty much an ideal place to hide it. So I don't know if it would bother you, but just be aware that no matter what kind of guy you are, people may start to stereotype you as an ex-con.

And I'm sorry, I can't answer any of your other questions, except that I would imagine it would hurt a little more than the average tattoo, but would be very bearable because it would be so much smaller, and I'd guess it would heal quickly.

Your mouth is the last place you want an open sore like that. The mouth is an awful place to get a tattoo. You don't want an infection in your mouth. My brother had the have surgery to get the swelling down and was in the hospital for a week because of an infection in his mouth.

It's supposed to be one of the less painful places to get inked. I imagine that it heals quickly because the mout his so vascular. This is kind of a skinhead tradition though.

Ink poisoning is a potential risk.

no matter how cool you think you will be with it 99.99% of people will be grossed out by it! Probably get poisoned too. Just get one on your arm like everyone else.
