I've been married 20 years and have 2 sons, no daughters and it still fits, so I thought why not, no one will want it and it just might be the perfect ending to a perfect married life!?

You must have a Beautiful Wedding dress !! But with a dress like this and it is at the beginning of your happy life, think of living. Not death. By the time you get older, you will want other good things to happen to your gorgeous dress. Your Children or daughters might want to use it for their wedding. At your Silver (25) Anniversary, a daughter might want to wear it for your Party. Hopefully, you will live to be old and by that time you won't even remember that you wore a wedding dress. Think Positive and live a long , happy life.

It's your choice. But remember that once you die, your body doesn't matter anymore. Some might find it a little odd. It's more customary for a person to be buried in a nice suit or dress instead.

Hope you are doing o.k. to think about this.

It is all right to do so.
Some did it because of the memories, some were virgins who died in a state of purity and want to be buried in a white dress.
Some women who died young brides also wore their dress.
Multitude of reasons.

Not weird at all, it's your funeral so feel free to do things your way, were it I, I would want to be cremated in it.

They say for some it is the most happy day of your life, it might as well be carried on to your death too...

Why is it weird to have your loved ones remember you in a happy occasion when you go?

Your body, your will, your choice.
