We use oyster crackers, they're the perfect size and the don't taste like wall paste the way wafers or the communion chicklets do.

Those little round white denture-glomming wafers.

There is something just so not right about trying to look pious while you're walking back to your pew after Communion. . .when all you're actually trying to do is pry that miserable little wafer off your upper plate with your tongue.

We use crackers for communion. One time we did break real bread together.

We also use grape juice instead of real wine.

my church??? well whatever , they use something that always sticks to the palate and one has to spend three hours of tongue fighting to unglue it
