Joseph Smith, the prophet od Mormonism' claimed that God and Jesus visited him in a grove where they told him all religions are false and that he should start a new church. Thereafter they gave him the Book of Mormon via golden plates for printing, afterwhich he returned the plates.

Muhammad claimed that an angel visted him everyday for over twenty years, piecemealing the Quran to him verse by verse. Oh yea, and for some reason, God wanted to give this literature to an illiterate pedophlic slave owning warlord.

Of course, both accounts are fiction, but as stupid as Joseph Smiths claim was, it beats the heck out of Muhammads.

Mohamed is far more credible ... J. Smith was just power hungry.

Why does it matter to you? I always wonder what will become of such irrelevant questions, besides offending Muslims and Mormons.
I happen to believe that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. He is dead, and is not here to defend himself. I also happen to believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church. So what? To most people that will answer this question, I am just a misguided and brainwashed cult member.
Let me tell you something. I have spent the better part of the last 15 years away from my religion, searching and studying every other religion that I could find. Do you know what I found? I found out that I wasted my time. I also found out that there is a lot of hate out there and it is intolerable.
I believe that Muhammad existed. I will no more tolerate slanderous remarks about him that I will my own dear prophet. If you are going to spread idiocy and hate, maybe you need to take a good long hard look inside yourself, and wonder for a moment who you are really hurting.

I suggest that you do a little more research on Joesph Smith, before you call his story a myth. There are many books and places around New York that proove that Joseph Smith jr, was alive and I'm sure if you were to visit the scared gtrove like many other LDS members, then I'm sure you would feel that spirit that was left behind and still lingers.
As well, the Church of Jesus Christ also has the stones that Joseph Smith used to translate the Book of Mormon, in a safe in the mountians, that is no secreat among church members.

The Book of Mormon is much more readable than the Koran.

And there is NO WAY that someone like Joseph Smith (a basically uneducated farmer with a third grade education) could have written the Book of Mormon. And in only two months! Even his wife said that there is no way he could have written it himself.

Muhammad pbuh, is more believable. plz dont insult anyone or actually do soem real background info on the subject, as Muhammad pbuh, was not a slave owner, in fact, he was trying to free the slaves and make them equal to others. you got this sooo wrong, next time please understand what you read, if u cant, then just dont argue in a subject of which u have no authority on!

you sound like someone who has been brainwashed by your media and sucked back way too much propaganda. Jesus and Muhammad ( peace be upon them ) are very real and are slaves/prophets/messengers of God.

I think we all know the truth. The Flying Spaghetti Monster came down from space, crapped out a few humans and the rest is history.

Ramen.

And yes, I would love some Kool-Aid.

I think David I's always lengthy (cut and) posts indicates he's not too 'long' elsewhere, and is over-compensating for it.

Dave, see a urologist before you 'peter out'.
