I marinated them. The are about an inch thick. Will the marinade that's on them get all charred? Why can't I find a single recipe?

Help! I've got the broiler heating up! Thanks to anyone who knows!

This is the best way to make chicken: Put whatever spices you want on the breasts, wrap them loosely in tin foil, put them in some kind of oven-safe pot, cook on 375 for 35 minutes, turn over and do another 35 minutes. They come out so moist and juicy. My grandma taught me that and they get better everytime I cook them that way.

You will want to grill them approximately 4-6 minutes on each side. You can make a small slit in the center of one to check for doneness, or take the temp--170 is done.

Have fun grilling!

Sorry--I mis--thought the question! I was thinking grilling not broiling....although it would be about the same. I hope that you pounded your chicken before you marinated them, so that they would cook evenly--if so, it would be the same amt of time, if not, you will have to do a little guessing.
To Oven Bake, however, that requires 30-40 minutes total.

I usually bake or pan fry mine. They cook very quickly. The marinade may burn so I would bake at 350 degrees for around 25-20 minutes. Cut one open about have way throught the cooking time to check for doneness. They need to be all white.
