I pass out sometimes when I am around big crowds, and it is really hot. Before I pass out, everything looks as if I were on a Merry Go Round on crack, and I can't hear very well. then my eyes roll in the back of my head and I fall. I can still hear people, and I try to answer them, but I can't do anything.

Please help.

Talk to people who have it, and just know anxiety can never kill you or give you a stroke or heart attack. Try to convince yourself its all in your head. And the reason that happens to you is because you "Freeze", that happens to me too, when im in the mall or an elevator its the worst. Try to control it yourself if thats only when you get it, if it gets out of control tell your doctor to prescribe you xanax. BUT only take when needed because its addicting. There is no reason you should go on an Anti-depressant for anxiety if you just have it when you in crowds. SSRI's for anxiety really should be if you have it everyday. Hope you feel better.

I was you for 36 years. It is time to go to the doctors. My god is so nice to live a normal life again. yes they will put you on xanax for emergency attacks. rember xanax takes an hour to kick in. So when you know your going to be in that situation take it just before you go. Yes it can be addictive, but I went off it after 5 years and have no addiction to it. So really is not as addictive as they think. Ask them to put you on clonipin. I probably spelled that wrong but you take it at night, and is a longer lasting. For emergencies count back wards from 60 to 1 as many times as you have to until you get calm and remove yourself from the situation if you have to. I gurantee you after a few years you will feel much better and I bet you will not be addictid to the drugs and may not even need them. I can tell you how god it feels to be able to do things with my kids now.

It sounds like you're having a panic attack. Work on deep breathing excercises to help yourself calm down. Breathe in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth. My doctor gives me a low dose of Xanax and that helps tremendously.

I would get myself on a better diet and drink a lot of water. This sounds more like a physical problem than mental.
