We were walking out of class and this girl asked me if I had a class. I told her at twelve. She said she had a class also at 12(it was 11:15am when she asked). She also said that she was going to buy something from the cafeteria and then go and eat outside since it was pretty warm outside. I said that was a pretty good idea and said good-bye. I only realized the mistake I made in that case. Tell me what you think is my mistake cause I want to be sure I’m right.

well, she did initiate the conversation with you, so that tells me that she's interested, even if it's just on a friendship basis.
she was being friendly with you, and, in my opinion, it wouldn't have been out of line for you, at that point, to say something like. "that sounds great, mind if i join you? it's such a nice day, and I could really use something from the cafeteria myself."
or something along those lines.
be sure and smile at her the next time you see her. and then you could offer to buy her a cup of coffee between classes.
then you guys could get to know each other...and who knows?

Telling somebody you like them is in no way a mistake. you in basic terms would desire to be waiting to handle in spite of result your assertion brings. have you ever heard that quote:' Of all the words be conscious of to guy, the saddest are what could have been'???? You 2 could be lacking a impressive journey.

She was hinting around for you to go eat lunch with her outside. Then you cut her off and said goodbye. If your interested in her, you should apologize to her and tell her that the situation caught you off guard. Good luck....

im very much like that myself --- while you did not really make a "mistake" --- she was seeing if you wanted to join her without asking --- its not a major problem --- next time you see her ask her if she wants to join you for a snack and a talk --- then later when you know her a bit better tell her about it and have a laugh together --- best wishes
