I was stopped for a train.I had whiplash, allot of bruises, cuts ,and totalled my car. I have uninsured motorist but my lawyer wants to go after my insurance company ! I have 100,000 on uninsured motorist and im sure he wants the hole thing . But im affraid i will get dropped. But the thing that gets me mad is that this guy almost killed me and i have 2 kids that are under 3 . And my wife would have to sell the house if i was to die. So due i let my lawyer go after my insurance company ? I lost about 4 weeks of work , 8k in hospital bills and no car.

The only party you can pursue is your own insurance company, that is why you have uninsured motorist coverage. What will happen is a similar process to if that uninsured motorist had insurance - basically your carrier will gather the necessary information and evaluate your claim and make an offer to your attorney. Your insurance company CANNOT drop you for pursuing an uninsured motorist claim. The claim is NOT your fault. What will happen, is your insurance company will go after the at fault party via collections.

should not be and are not are 2 very diverse issues. the motorcar has no theory no matter if that is insured or no longer, it purely is conscious a key has been inserted into the ignition. You get clobbered with the help of an uninsured, unlicensed, inebriated slob with undesirable plates on the motorcar, and also you recognize why you're finding out to purchase uninsured motorist coverage.

have you contacted your insurance company? if not i suggest you do so imediatly. your lawer cannot keep all the money you seek for damages, and injuries. plus your insurance company should not drop you as it was the other driver"s fault. call your lawyer and ask him why he isn"t suing the other driver,or going after his insurance since he caused the accident to begin with.good luck!

r going after the other person"s insurance? he is libel for all damages not you! call your lawy

Yes. You have to go where the money is. And make sure your contract with your lawyer is for him to receive a percentage of settlement only, so you won't owe him anything if he is unsuccessful in collecting.

Thats why you have that coverage...

BTW... your not getting 100k.. just to give you a heads up. It doesnt matter that he "could" have killed you.... he didnt. And him being drunk has nothing to do with your injury. You have whiplash, bruises and cuts.... i hope your not planning your future around being 100k richer.

""And my wife would have to sell the house if I was to die. ""

Quit messing around with on-line ins quotes and get a full time agent who will take care of this stuff for you.
