That's life! Whether it's a relationship with your siblings, parents, friends or your partner there's always going to be disagreement at some point. When you're in such close proximity to one human being, no matter how much you love them, there can be times of frustration, it's just human nature. One thing that I do know is that the hard work is most definitely worth it. I've never worked harder in any part of my life than the relationship I have with my boyfriend, and it's worth every bit of effort. The more you work at something, the more you learn, the more you grow and more the fun you can have. That's what we're all here for after all - to learn, to grow and to have fun! Those who work hard always reap the rewards. The lazy b@stards in life don't get sh!t!!! :) Keep up the hard work!

The best relationships are those that are shared with someone who has the same value system as yourself. Mutual respect is also essential.
It is near impossible to share a happy relationship with someone who's value system is vastly different then yours....

For example; You value being on time, and your partner doesn't care if he/she is late, and is frequently late causing you and others inconvenience.
You value paying bills on time, and your partner doesn't pay their bills.
You value dinners with the whole family every Sunday, and your partner has a bad relationship with their own family.

All these things can contribute imense amounts of stress on a relationship, because both people do not understand the other's way of doing things.

Mutual respect is very important.

Relationships are work. Always. But if you partner with someone whom you already share values, it can be easier then constantly struggling against someone who doesn't understand you.

Anything worth having takes hard work. You get out of a relationship what you put into it (hopefully, any way).
