I think it is because so many so-called Christians come across as intolerant, biased, ignorant and a little bit offensive. Not all christians on this site are like that, but recently they seem few and far between. So when the fanatical christian right, learn tolerance and understanding, then maybe others will be less anti-christian!

Par for the course bobo...
although i don't think it's just Christians getting a hard time...there's been a lot of rubbish posted this week (trolls or gremlins in the works) there have been some posters pretending to be Christians and some pretending to be Muslims, but the R&S regulars know the difference..
For me personally, the support i get here far out-weighs the the silly stuff..Bless you for noticing it..

What do you mean this week? People have been fighting about Christianity on here for the entire time I've been posting on here. And thats a good 6 months now. Religion and politics are the two things that are sure to cause a fight and Christianity is the single most... aggravating and bossy religion in the world.

Maybe this is the time to know and learn the truth about anti-Christ. Do not parallel it with the devil because it is not. The word was demonized in order only for people not to go against the Christians. The real anti-christ are persons and group that do not believe in Jesus Christ and not necessarily the one who wants to destroy the world. It is also possible that the beast featured in the Book of Revelation is not an Anti-Christ but a Devil hiding in the cloak of the Christian religion.

I would say every week is anti Christian week for some of the anti theists on here. I believe Christians should be aware that there are some on here who are truly the enemy of God and respond accordingly.

Self inflicted. Anyonewho has no desire for open debate or respect for other peoples thoughts will get a hard time. The sad thing is, there are some very nice christians on this site but they are getting the flak brought down by the bigots and zealots.

.Right. Poor persecuted Christians.
Maybe we could turn things around a bit. We'll print "There is no god" on the money, put Atheist symbols all over government buildings, add no god references to the Pledge of Allegiance, have teachers tell public school children that there is no god to pray to...

Because it's popular. These people are hypocrites!; they hate people who generalize and yet they generalize all Christians as being narrow-minded, absolutist, money-grabbing, unenlightened. Self-hatred is key here; they hate generalizations so when they see it in themselves, it all goes downhill from there!

don't worry about them. The more you evangelize, the more you'll find oppostion, apathy and intolerance abounds in every man, Christian and non-Christian. You get confronted with the fact that the souls have not been born, they're actually dead souls in living bodies.
that which is born of flesh is flesh, that which is born of spirit is spirit, the Spirit giveth life, etc.
it makes me sad and angry for a few moments, and then I just remember how I believed because of the testimony of one faithful Christian who was willing to keep trying, and I take my cross back up and keep preaching the good news:
all can be saved by faith in Jesus!
