I live in the San Diego area. It has to have REAL au jus, and the bun has to be toasted perfectly. Anyone ???

Well, my favorite is George's in La Jolla. I don't know if they still have a French Dip, but I know they would NEVER stop serving the most delicious soup I have ever had -- smoked chicken, brocolli and black bean.

Every time I see the words "San Diego" or "La Jolla", I am reminded of my favorite soup in the ENTIRE world.
