Why? Instead of hating Arabs, they should be thanking them. Jews were being persecuted in Europe and slaughtered and the only people that would tolerate them were the Arabs...How come the Jews insisted on a homeland when indeed they would not be there had not the Muslims protected them and defeated the Crusaders?

Muslims don't have a desire to kill Jews...only to destroy Israel because it's Arab land now, Israel shouldn't exist in the Middle East, Only Arab states and Iran.

I am grateful. Many Jews are grateful. Judaism requires us to be grateful for all these things. The problem is that the kind of Jews who are grateful, want real peace, and condemn attrocities don't own a state with a multi-million dollar propaganda budget. (Not that we would want one.) SO you can't hear us over the reprobate hordes.

Let's also not forget that we should also respect Arabs for the wonderful, G-dly parts of Arab and Muslim culture, and recognize the modesty in arab and muslim culture and the hospitality and desire to do G-d's will.

It also needs to be remembered that in addition to the things you mentioned, Arabs are in the vast majority of cases a Monotheistic people worshiping Abraham's G-d, and thus occupy a very special place in Jewish thought.

Now regarding the Israeli-Palistinian conflict, those who are involved in that problem from the Jewish side are apostates from Judaism the religion who are devoted to a secular ideology called ZIonism, which is the very opposite of Judaism, but uses terms and ideas robbed from Judaism to justify actions and ideas Judaism the faith finds reprehensible.

I have yet to hear a Zionist say what exactly the Palestinian Arabs did to deserve this treatment other than being somewhere the ZIonists didn't want them to be.

Setting up a Jewish state is forbidden by Jewish law, and even if they had made their devil state out of gold and sat every Arab on a diamond throne we would still be obligated to oppose them; but in addition to that, the way they treat the Palestinians is visciously evil, and has no justification in the revelation we recieved from Moses. FOr them to say otherwise is blasphemy and G-d sees, and will judge.

All good people should pray that G_d brings an end to the ZIonist Heresy and the ZIonist State, through a spirit of repentance in a peaceful way where there is no more loss of life or shedding of blood.

Free Palestine! Free all of Palestine, from the Jordan river to the Sea.

I know that Albanian Muslims did a lot and saved almost their entire Jewish population from the Nazis. Other than that... Denmark was wonderful, but I guess you don't mean this country because it was not an 'enemy' of the Jews. edit... hmmmmm..... well, you really have me intrigued now! The countries that I always heard had a bad history of anti semitism were Poland, Austria, and France. So I'll guess....Poland? (Or Austria?!) Hopeless, thank you very much for those links. I found that so interesting. Yes, it does seem that this show is illustrating to Iranian people some things that we Jews experienced. The only negative point is where there is a division between Israel, and Jews, because of course Israel is the Jewish state. But overall, the programme SEEMS to be having a positive effect, and anything which can foster better relations is good. :) So, is the answer to the question in fact Iran?

Historically speaking, there has always been a conflict between Jews and Christians; right from the birth of Jesus Christ. On the other hand, Muslims have always been protecting their subjects, irrespective of their religion. Belford Declaration by Britain is another example of how Europeans thought and treated the Jews. The reason of giving Jews their "own" land by Europe in general & Britain in particular was to get rid of them and make Europe a "Jew free land".
But History is History and with time the dynamics of real politik change. Arabs/Muslims must keep this in mind.

Oh,we know that. Throughout the period when they were being persecuted in Christian Europe there were absolutely huge Jewish communities flourishing throughout the Muslim world. Jewish historians have never attempted to explain what kept the Jews in Europe, particularly given that the Muslim states were also far more advanced generally than Europe during the Middle Ages. Moorish Spain was the highwater mark of Jewish culture, not their comparitively limited stay in ancient Palestine.
Why no gratitude? Well,it doesn't seem to be a trait of theirs,to be honest. They got Palestine courtesy of the British but even before WWII ended they were attacking and killing Brits in Palestine everywhere they could find them. Even individuals who support them often pay a bitter price; the writer Dorothy Thompson was a fervid gentile zionist for 25 years, but when she wrote one single column criticising the Hagannah for it's depredations every Jewish friend she had dropped her like a stone and she was publicly acused on "antisemitism". When you check Israeli blogs they are absolutely teeming with a virulent hatred of Americans - most comments are to the effect that we aren't doing enough,or that we keep pushing the peace process, etc. They don't usually manifest hatred toward people who react to them with indifference but woe to anyone who ever does them a good turn. Think of all the Jews who survived the Holocaust because they were hidden by Catholics, think of the Archbishop of Muenster standing up to the Nazis. You know what? They hate Catholics with a passion. You Muslims made a bad mistake when you welcomed Jews from the beginning of the Diaspora to the take-over of Palestine. They never forgive a good turn.

As a true Muslim, in a Muslim state, Muslims soldiers ARE OBLIGATED to fight for the protection of Dhimmis (Jews and Christians under their protection, who paid the Jizya (protection tax for people who didn't convert and wanted to stay Jew or Christian), when people followed properly this was the case.

First off both Jews and Muslims stood side by side and fought and died against the crusaders.

Second the Arabs allied with Hitler until the very end of the war.

Third the treatment of Jews under the Arabs was not as harsh as it was in Europe, but it was a far cry from equality and freedom.

Please learn your history not your propaganda.

The very fact that your last statement speaks of your tolerance and kindness. You cannot stand to see a Non Muslim state in the Middle East.

Sorry to say it buddy but you conquered it and we took it back.

Thanks for keeping it warm, but now that the owners are back you can head back to your sand dunes.
