is something happening to me?

there is a fire around where i live and a lot of smoke come s to my townwelll today i started coughting really bad but my mom smokes then i just cugh a little bit like once or twice.what is going on? i dont have breathing problems.

Pollution! If you are not used to the fire/smoke then you will start coughing, until you get used to it.

you may be developing respiratory problems.
