Yule - The rebirth of the Sun -God, Lugh (Winter Solstice)
Ostara - full awakening of the Maiden Goddess (Spring Equinox)
Corresponds to birth of jesus, christmas, easter (Ostara) corresponds by full awakening of new life - the new life of man, having sin being taken
Hmmmm... Pagan concepts?
How come The Christain Church is against women? I am NO FEMINIST but believe men and women must work together. Women are not allowed to be a priest in the Catholic Church, no matter how faithful they are. The Shakti is the power and is in the female diety to give power to the male diety in Hinduism. (Parvati and Shiva) I simply don't understand. Christians came from different polotheistic religions, then, once they organise, try to destroy us! Why?

That you have fallen victim to lies perpetrated by pagans (Wicca my best guess here), and that it is unlikely (though possible) that you will respond to Truth.

Nowhere in the bible is the winter solstice connected to Jesus' birth. It was a much later addition as a way to try to get pagan converts to substitute the "Christian" holiday in place of the "pagan" holiday.
The same is true, to a lesser degree, of Easter, except that the two events (one Christian, one pagan) actually did take place at about roughly the same time. But that is largely coincidental, since the timing of Jesus' death and resurrection was determined by Passover. The main difference between the two, however, is that the pagan concept involved a yearly death and rebirth whereas Christianity involved a one and one-time only death and resurrection. But that's one of the problems with attempts to show that Christian beliefs came from pagan sources: they tend to rely on equating very different concepts.
Finally, I am not trying to destroy you or anyone else. However, I do believe you are in error and a serious one at that. I can only warn you of that and it is up to you to decide whether you believe that the danger is real or not.

The Clergy synchronized their holidays to correspond to pagan holidays to make it easier to convert them.
I always enjoy asking Christians, what day did Christ die, they always say Easter, but what day, I mean, I know my exact birthday and we know the exact day of anyone who has ever died. They usually do not know the truth.
I tell them that the reason it moves around year to year, is that it is the first Sunday, after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. I tell them that the Eggs and bunnies are symbols of Ester, a pagan goddess.
They are against women, because before Christianity, the Woman (Female) Goddesses were very respected and prominent in the Old Religion. They had to supress the Goddesses for the Male Solar God to prevail.
I sense that the shift will be coming back, you can see women rising to power in all areas of economics and politics. There will be once more a Balance of energies.

I don't know why the Christians tried to destroy Paganism, but they did try to do it. They did create Holidays during the same time as the Pagan Holidays in order to compete with the Pagans. It was one of their tactics to overthrow Paganism. The fact remains that Paganism existed more than 20,000 years before Christianity did. Yes, I believe as you do, that men and women must work together. But, I also believe that people of all religions must work together.

Actually.... Lugh isn't a sun god. He's described as shining bright as the sun, due to his good looks, but he's not a solar deity.
