ok so I'm trying to make a really good meal but havent figured out the specifics. this is what I have so far...
meatball soup, I know I want it to have cilantro, turkey meatballs, mini-bowtie pasta, & a clear-ish broth...
sun-dried tomato french bread with a little parmesan-mushroom gravy over the top.
a garden salad with romaine lettuce, green onions, mushrooms, olives, radishes, purple cabbage shreds, & some kind of vinagrette or green goddess type dressing.
Dessert is some sort of sour cream cinnamon crumb cake
not sure about the drink...possibly a sparkling oarnge & rosehip tea. Whatever it is cant have alcohol.
What do you think about this? Does it sound good together? Does it sound like it "comes together as a whole"?Any tips, suggestions, opinions, even recipes for any of this stuff if you have it...I'm jus lookin for input here so pretty much anything is welcome
Thanks so much. (=

OK, for honesty? Most of it sounds good. I think the salad might be a bit too "busy". Leave out either the olives or radishes. You've got a little bit too salty/bitter there when combined with the cabbage. But that's just my opinion.

um....
i think the soup sounds alright but i dont think soup goes very well with salad.
I think u should make a soup thats abit lighter such as pumpkin or potato and leek... even dumpling soup would be good!

As a main maybe make a chicken stir fry or have garlic chicken with the salad you were planning on making.. also the french bread idea you had would go perfectly with the garlic chicken n salad.

dessert - make a fruit flan with homemade custard inside or sour cream cheesecake!

drinks - a nice white or red wine would go really well with the main
and a fruity champaine would go really well with dessert!

hope this helps
:P
