This is a tough one for me. I normally would not consider even answering a man asking this question...but it is you and you are not a sexist. This is a very touchy subject for all concerned, but I am never afraid to voice my opinion.
As a woman I am pro choice, as I do not want to be viewed as a womb with legs, nor do I want another person to tell me what I can or can not do with my own body.
I also am against a woman using this method for birth control. I abhor the lackadaisical attitude some women have towards unprotected intimacies, it is irresponsible and deadly.
Also, there are some cases where rape, incest, and the health of the mother are thought for consideration of the personal choice of the mother. This is traumatic enough without having to make this decision, but again they
should have the option of either as it is their body.
Where I would not give a second thought about giving my life for that of my child, some would rather live themselves and are comepletely entitled to that choice. It is after all, their body and conscience they have to live with. I myself could not live with it.
I lost my son to SIDS and I would give my life for him even now. If I were not able to conceive, this type of foundation would be a God send....I would love the chance
to adopt a baby, and there are many I know who can not conceive.
I believe that all pregnancies are a gift, life is a gift, bringing life into this world is a precious honor bestowed upon women.
With the help of men of course.
I say that is a terrific idea and would support that with everything I had.
Both sides of the subject are near and dear to my heart.
Raising children you are not ready for can be an extraordinary burden, and having a child to adopt would lift a burden from those unable to conceive on their own. The baby wins, the birth mother wins, and the adopting parents win.
I just say that if you use your heart and truly consider the life of everyone involved there is always a situation where everyone can have happiness.
I hope this helps as I am torn! When you are a person who thinks with their heart...as I do, sometimes it is hard to not empathize with all parties involved in this issue.

That doesn't take care of the fact that some women don't want to go through the nine months of pregnancy. If you can create artificial wombs for the unborn children to be transfered to, that would help.
Also, like the other poster said, we don't do a very good job of taking care of orphans. Living children should have priority over the unborn.

The only abortion problems are the emotional trauma that many women undergo; the bombings and protests that cause undo danger and stress to the workers, doctors, and patients; and the need for the government to find new ways and reasons to regulate the lives of its citizens.

I think you have a great heart. It would be wonderful if all children, all people, were given the basic necessities of life. I still believe abstinence should be taught along with proper birth control. Girls and women should also be taught about their bodies better so they would know there is only one day a month that they can get pregnant. I like the prayer idea also. If all these suggestions were combined and people really tried, maybe we could eliminate abortions.
God Bless.

so long as your orginization was not religious or used to recruit children into religions from an early age. fine,
there are 150,000 children in foster care in America right now. with 124,000 abortions every year. we cannot take care of the 150,000 that we do have in foster care, what will we do when that number doubles almost every year?

As long as we could be sure that the environment these kids were raised in were a positive influence, and not creating criminals, or just generally negative people.

there's a program that's already happening which is the best one I ever heard of...
doctors show women ultra sound of their babies, let them feel the heart beat, basically let them know what they are going to do by committing to abortion. Most girls and women change their minds after finding out what they're really about to do.
I think we should support this one and help it grow!

Yeah we can't even take care of all the orphens properly. Lets not worry about the unborn just yet.
Anddd....Some people just don't want to give birth.
