Like the above poster (God Bless) I am not a huge fan of Bush and his illegal immigrant policy; however, unlike God Belss, I am a supporter of Bush.
He is the leader we need during conflict. Problem is most Republicans will not go to exit polls or are not polled by polling agencies because they don't care about talking garbage.
Look at all the protests, 90% of them are by Democrats and other liberals. Republicans prefer other routes that are more quiet.
If you want to talk about popularity polls...check out Congress and their LOWER then Bush approval ratings.
According to the April Gallop Poll
Bush was at 38%
Congress was at 33%....
uh oh...how come we can't mention this???

While I lean toward the conservative side of things political, I resigned from the GOP because they ran a smear campaign against McCain in the primarys. I don't think that President Bush will be remembered in a good light in history, but that is for the historians of the future to decide.
That said, I agree with Steddy that the office of the Presidency deserves respect no matter who is sitting in the oval office.

A long time ago I found that Conservatives lie. They may be at work but not really working. Many Republicans have Local Federal or State jobs and they do not work. These same non working Neo-con deadbeats are the ones that claim Liberals do not work and want handouts.. They also suck off the tax payers.

I support Bush, but that doesn't necessarily mean I have to agree with everything he does, because I don't. I think he means well in this war in Iraq, but he is just a very stubborn man and we need to get our troops out. I also don't agree with his immigration policy and the fact that he has not put that wall up quicker. But most presidents before him have ignored this same issue.

Its not always a black & white issue. There are some things, domestically, that he's done a fine job with. Unfortunately, everything is overshaowed by Iraq.
Not only that, but I get angry with people who cannot respect the Office of the Presidency. Even if you don't like him, people still need to respect the position, and have to realize that realistically, he's doing a job very few of us could/would do any better than him. Its a tough job for anyone.
Edit: In response to your edit, yes I did respect Clinton as POTUS. I have never agreed 100% with any president, or their policies, but I always give them due respect.

The immigration section was the wrong place to ask about Bush support...he is the weakest on this issue of anyone that I have seen.

How else would someone who supports Bush be heard, on the liberal TV? You will hear plenty of them on the consevative radio though. For the record, I don't really care for Bush, but I am conservative.

i know! i don't understand it! it's very strange....pretty much everyone in my region (New England) hates him...his approval rating in my home state of New Hampshire is 17%!
i don't know where all of the people are that don't like him...it's kind of sad..i don't know how people can say this site is full of liberals when it seems that most of the people on here are conservatives that love "President" Bush!

I don't support everything Bush does. He needs to seal off the southern border to keep illegals out.

I did not vote for, the father, the son, or the brother. Maybe the bush supports can only voice their opinions anonymously, because the facts are not on their side and they would be quickly corrected. The boy king and his grumpy old man ( Cheney) did not even make Times Most Influential List.
