i need help!!?

my memorex kereokie machine is great and i love it to death but when you plug in the micphone and start singing you cant hear youself do you know how i can fix this

The more important question is, can anyone else hear you? You have to have the mic behind the speaker so you don't get feedback, so you might have a problem hearing yourself.

There are a number of possibilities: the mic is broken, you plug it into the wrong jack, the volume for the mic is turned down too low, the karaoke machine itself is broken, you're using an incompatible mic, you're not plugging the mic all the way in.

A quick check of reviews at Circuit City shows it helps to connect it to a TV or sound system (stereo, radio, amplifier), since it does not put out much sound on its own.
