you know have birds have their eyes on both sides of their head..do they see two things at once?

Yes, they are seeing different objects from both eyes at the same time. Horses have that too.

No. They just have a wider field of vision than we do - they can't see straight ahead without turning their head, just as we can't see far to the right without turning our heads.

I was trying to find a field of vision diagram to explain it better but couldn't. This is a pretty good article about bird vision though:
