I am currently in my freshman year in highschool... I like this girl who sits across from me in Supervised Study. For about a week now I have been catching her looking at me then she will quickly look away. And when She catches me looking at her i look away... I will often catch her smiling at me out of the corner of my eye and when i look up she either tucks away the smile or looks away. Im really shy and im not an expert at "Flirting". Well today i was talking to my friend across the room and she comes ALL THE WAY across the room looks at me quickly and turns her back and starts talking to her friend. Well every 20 seconds or so she would look back and smile at me briefly... Is she flirting with me or is she just playing with my feelings? lol any advice would be good at this point I really need some help.

Actually, i think she likes you. A girl is doing the SAME EXACT THING. exactly the same thing to me.
She's the shy one though. I found out she likes me. So i talked to her, and she was blush faced speechless. We ended up going out.
Your little girlfriend is liking you, so get to know her, i no your shy, but you will be starring and starring at eachother for years if you don't make a move.

It sounds like she is flirting with you, but with some girls you never know, maybe she's shy too and thinks that you aren't interested. High School is tricky, I know way back when I was there I always starred at guys that I liked, even though I was shy, and most of them did exactly what you do and so I thought they weren't interested. Just pass by her and smile and say Hi, and see where it goes, who knows you just might find a cool new friend if nothing else.

This girl is flirting with you! Just casually ask her out one night. If she says no then act really hansom and she will like you. When and if she does like you then play hard to get for about a week. Then once you see shes crazy about you ask her out.

you know hun, its really too hard to tell with girls or guys, we all do it. Sometimes it just makes you feel good and alive to flirt. But she could mean it. You should jump out of your shyness and try talking to her, if you become friends with her, you might be able to tell alot easier if shes sincere about liking you

it is very hard to say....
The only was to find out is ask her to do something with you.....not a date but maybe something small like a group event or just help with a home work problem
