would you tell them and rest your conscience or avoid a fight and not mention it?

I did a stupid thing today but I know that it would make my fiance very very angry.. He will never find out unless I tell him so by not mentioning it I wont be lying..

What I did was give my ex a lift. Its such a stupid thing but I know it would make my fiance very angry because there were previous issues between them and my ex is still trying to get back with me. I shouldn't tell right? I think I should avoid an unnessecary fight dont you think?

I definitely would NOT lie about it if it ever comes up, but otherwise let it go.

I do spontaneous things too, but in the future try to think it through a bit more... saves having to hide from reality, which is always tricky and has a way of biting you when you least expect it!

Good luck.

Definitely avoid the unnecessary fight. As long as you're not into your ex or anything anymore I don't see the harm in withholding a little thing like a lift. But if you feel guilty about it does that maybe mean that maybe you do still like your ex? Or maybe is your fiance just one of those insane jealous types and you're afraid he may do something to you? I don't know, there's so much going on there! For now just keep quiet, I guess.

You may be right, but why would you do anything like that if you love your fiance!!?? And you already know he wouldn't like it!! It is better to stay a way from something that you know isn't right or will hurt someone you say you love so much!! That is just adding fuel to the fire!! In the future, or at least if you want a future with your fiance, don't be so stupid and don't get yourself into these situations!!

Not telling him IS lying to him. The more honest you are with him, the more he will trust you. If you tell him now, he may be upset, but he will know that you are trustworthy enough to tell him. If you don't tell him and he finds out later, he will wonder if there is anything else going on. He would have every reason to. After all, why would you purposely not tell him about it unless you were trying to hide something bigger? It's always best for the relationship if you are honest.

i think you should tell, not only because it's better to be honest with your significant other, but also because of what might happen if he finds out. if he finds out you gave your ex a lift, and that you were hiding that fact from him, he may think there's more going on than just you giving him a ride. So just tell him, it'll be better for both of you in the long run.

I think you should be hit along side the head for even thinking of giving your ex a lift! Show some respect for your fiance..

Just let him, what if he finds out from another source? Just be honest it the best way you will have a relationship. Remember to tell him that you love HIM not he ex... and then don't give the ex a ride home again....
Good Luck!!

If you're confessing what you did on yahoo! answers, what makes you think he won't ever find out unless you tell him? Just tell him. You'll feel better. And yeah, maybe he'll be pissed, but either he'll get over it, or he won't, and then you can be at peace w/ yourself knowing whether this man really loves you and trusts you (you haven't done anything wrong) or you'll see his true colors & realize that you can't live w/ someone who can't trust you and over reacts & is maybe possessive (not that he is, but I'm just saying, for instance ...). It's better if you tell him than someone on here reads this & tells him. Cause then he'll think you're trying to hide something if you don't.

You risk double jeopardy, in the future if by any chance he does find out. Your best option is to make both sides understand that they do not own you and that they will have to live with the fact that you know both of them, and they must ultimately trust you and your decisions without reservations, other wise your relationship is doomed from the start.

Not saying anything is still lying.

Why are you with a man you cannot be honest with?

Why aren't you respecting your significant other by staying away from your ex?

I think you need to explore why you don't really love and do not respect the man you are with.
