you cant use a motorcycle while @ boot. you have to march every where {or sometimes run{ in formation with the rest of ur class... afterwards when your in school, it depends on the school if your allowed driving privelidges or not... not really any sense in getting a vehicle till u findo ut where ur permanant duty station is gonna be.... it would suck to put $ into a bike, and then turn around and get deployed for 6+ monthes.

E1 has no privlidges of any kind. E2 is at completion of bootcamp and they get some limited privlidges. Best advice is to wait until you have finished Basic and A. I. T. to worry about transportation You may get assigned to a west pac cruse and it would sit for 8 months.

Well you can buy a vehicle or you have it brought to you. While in "A" School you will probably have to run a request chit to bring a vehicle on base. If it is approved you will have to attend a navy motorcycle safety course prior to registering your vehicle on base. If it is denied I would not recommend riding it as if you were in an accident you could be considered in violation for riding without the safety course.

each Base CO sets policy. you will not be allowed to have a POV during Boot Camp. You might not be allowed during A school. You won't know until you get there and reach the proper Phase.

yes, but the navy has more rules that you have to follow for a cycle tag...
