It would be the right thing. that's what God wanted for us.
Anyone who hates or judges others based on religious differences is not a godly person. There are many hypocrites among the super religious zealots from all religions. They're the ones who preach hatred in the same breath as using God's name. Now if that's not blasphemous....

Thanks for asking this question. We need more dialogue about peace and love, unity and tolerance and less about juvenile bickerings of who's religion is better than the others'.
I'm giving you a star!

Oh yes, it would be nice but I am afraid such a world will never materialise. We as humans are naturally clanish:we need to define who we are and to be part of a group. However, in order to define our group we need "others" outside the group. We call them many names: heretics, heathen, Gentiles, Jews, Catholics, Protestants etc.

Oh, we love to slice, dice and classify. Even when we all belong to the same religion (as in Late Roman Empire) we divide along Manichean, Arian, Monophysite lines. Religion is not the problem. No, it is human nature and our primal fear of the unknown.

I don't know about right. I always say there is no right religion, only the religion that is right for you. I don't mind that other people believe in something different than I do, and I would never try to "convince" people they are wrong about the religion they follow. I believe there is no god. Others believe the opposite. The main difference between me and many others is that I am willing to admit I may be wrong. You see, that is the thing about beliefs - they are not absolute knowledge.

I'm not completely sure about that. I think that as a nation, Britain (including me) is very often far too tolerant of false religions and ideas. However, I do wish that everyone knew and accepted the Truth. Wouldn't life be great!

A few days ago a lady we know miscarried in her eighth month. My wife was driving her home from the hospital and the lady started playing Fleetwood Mac Live in Boston CD. She had never heard it before, and tears just started streaming out of her eyes. She said she felt just like the songs.

Maybe music is a better medium for change than preaching.

Sure it would be great, but there will not be as long as people like "server to the lawd" get a kick out of foolishness like he is bragging about. What motivates people to act that way? I guess its fear and conviction that come of unforgiven sin. Anyway, have a nice day.

I think it’s possible to believe that your religion is right AND still treat others with respect. Agree to disagree. Be civil. That’s all. When you take it to the level of confrontation you are putting your own desire to be heard over God’s will that we show His love in the way we treat others.

Grace & Peace from God & Son,

The problem is many "believe" the lies.
The solution is "know" the truth: John 8:32.
Know-ing makes you "free" of believe-ing.

Grace with you all. Amen.

Well, small arguments are okay, but wars aren't. But it has been this way for as far back as the history books go. Right?

I don't recall any wars in the name of Atheism.

(that's not to say that atheists don't start wars, but they were all over power and control, not over which deity people believe in)
