Great Danes are originally from Germany, so a German name would be very fitting. I like Panzer, which is German for "tank".
Resist naming it Scooby or Marmaduke. People will call the Dane that anyway, no matter what it's name is.

well its really hard to say.....what color is it?.....is it a girl or a boy?
i like the name emily for a girl.....i really dont know why, my 5 yr old daughter came up with the name one day and i have just always liked it since then...

well you didnt say if its a boy or a girl so i will give you ideas for both boys names --- rocky it sounds tough or dancer it sounds graceful or skipper it sounds playful ok girls names daisy it sounds cute paula it sounds like a reasonable name for a big dog or bobbie for my husbands lying ex wife.good look.
