Worldwide there are over 6,741,444 Jehovah's Witnesses in over 236 Lands. With over 16,675,113 people attending the Memorial last year. So there are a lot of Witnesses in the World. The Memorial Last year in Mexico was 1,808,321. Which is 1 out of like 60 people in the Mexican population.
Which is a lot.
P.S. JW's are not a cult. Because They are to large and they don't have a human leader. If they were one, then Who is Currently there human leader?

Well, there are Witnesses in over 200 countries. I personally live in the south, and know allot of Witnesses down here, but also from other countries around the world.
As for the questions on here. Allot of them are attacks in the form of questions. One recent question was "Why are Jehovah's Witnesses trained to lie?" What good is meant to be done from a rude inaccurate query like that?
Some on here seem to have sincere questions about our beliefs. I try to treat all the questions as though they are being asked out of Genuine interest.

People like to talk about, usually not in a good way, those things that they don't understand. Anything different than themselves, as they perceive it, is subject to ridicule or gossip. I would caution everyone to not accept idle gossip and comments without first examining the subject for yourself. Generally, we find that the people are not all that different, many commonalities. If we don't believe exactly the same things, that is all right for now. With communication, sharing, tolerance and time, we find that we can become closer to each other and that there is no need to speak ill of anybody.

I've noticed that LDS (Mormons) and JW's are mentioned a lot on here, too. I think it probably has to do with the fact that there is often a lot of misleading information concerning both faiths that people are not sure about. Some of the questions are honest: trying to find out the truth, etc. Other questions are meant to demean/ridicucle.

Alot want to learn about the religion and some just want to make fun of them. Mormons are popular in the west i think (with Utah). You will find more baptist and full gospels around here in the south.

Not true. Most Mexicans are Catholic. What Jehovah's Witnesses believe and what Mormons believe is VERY different. Most people who attack JW's and Mormons do so primarily because they both go from door to door with their beliefs. Most people ridicule both groups because they do not want to be reminded of Jesus' last command to "go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”—Matt. 28:19, 20.
Most "Christians" prefer to ignore Jesus' last command to go and make disciples. Instead, they woud rather go to church sometimes and sit on their hands and pay some gabby clergyman to do the preaching for them. So by poking fun at JW's and Mormons, it makes it easier for them to disregard Jesus' command to do what they are unwilling to do.

Because many people have to attack something or someone to make themselves feel better, but many people aren't original enough to come up with new people to attack. So they fall back on old favorites, use OLD outdated attacks, that have no validity. Instead of asking REAL questions, they use this as a pulpit to put people down. It's very sad.

they are both cults-they are both active missionizing to try and earn their way to heaven -so that raises questions. they are active in Mexico because Catholicism has not given them the New Birth of Jesus that Luther offered in amazing grace. John 3 repented of sins-even one lie and letting Jesus in to my heart to help me and be my friend.
as Luther and millions of others have done too.
JW's think only 144,000 will make it to the new Jerusalem of heaven and take that from the Jewish people to be saved in Revelation 7 (12,000 of each of the Jewish tribes-not Jehovah witness who have few Jews among them)
they changed the bible and wrote the New World Translation-John 1:1 from the Word was God-to the Word was a god=a false god.
Mormons added to the Bible their cult leaders writings -The Book of Mormon-that says among other things that Jesus is the brother of Satan.
Revelation 3:19&20 is the key for salvation for true believers in Jesus - "I love you and ask you to repent quickly, I knock on your heart door to come in, and have fellowship with you and you with me, when you ask me in."
So I prayed and asked Jesus into my heart to forgive and save me and be my friend, amen
In the prince of peace "Unto us is born a child, a son is given, and he will be almighty God, the prince of peace." Isaiah 9:6
worked for me thanks to the Good Lord, have nice day, David

Praise God no, they aren't the only "religions" here in the USA. How do you know all the questions asked about them are by Americans?
