Well, my money is on Jeff Gordon. He's on a role, he's strong, and he's doing it with his team. Steve has really grown into becoming one of NASCAR's premier crew chiefs, and I have to admit, a year ago I wouldn't have thunk it! As for this weekend, I think the only potential road block Jeff may face is the one his own driver Jimmy Johnson may put up. Why do I say that you ask? Well people, last week Jimmy punted two Hendrick cars, and tried to wreck Gordon at Bristol afew weeks back. He has shown that the "Indy Car" attitude is alive in NASCAR, no. You know, the "It's all about ME" syndrome.
Don't get me wrong, I like Jimmy. He will win another championship, and plenty more races. He is arguably one of the best drivers to ever come into the sport. But if the guy punts his car owner, then punts his best friend Mears, and then causes a wreck that takes out Busch, and has really no remorse, it's hard to rule him out as a factor in any race, even against teammates.

I'm going to say Kyle Busch (won at Bristol in the first COT race and out of 4 races run at Richmond Shrub has 4 top 5s) or Deny Hamlin (likes the flatter tracks and has looked great in COT) who is from Virginia.

Denny Hamlin has been good in all the COT races but hasn't had the finishes. Virginia is his home track. Too bad Jeff Gordon is on a major streak and will steal the victory from him and continue his dominance this year.

I would say Dale Jr. He runs really well here. He has been running strong in the CoT so far. If not him, then Gordon he has been on a roll lately.

Go Dale Jr.
