Regrettably, history tends to repeat itself.
If Jesus were here today, I'm sure that many here would line up in the streets to see him hung on a cross.

It was religious people that crucified Jesus....

People who were fundamentalists and thought they were the ultimate authority on everything.

Would you crucify Jesus because he was different in looks, beliefs or traditions than what you have been taught by man to believe at whatever organized religion you belong to?

Do I disagree with how his followers distort what he said?...yes.
DO I agree with many of the statements of Christianity?...no
Would I crucify him?...no

I would rather sit and have a philosophical discussion regarding his training in Kaballah and mysticism. I still might disagree with him, but we all might be surprised with how much I believe that he would agree with.

Blessings,

I never said I agree with the statements of his divinity except in the light that the divine resides in all of us.

Blessings,

I would never crucify Jesus, of course he did died about 2000 years ago so it would be impossible even if I wanted to.

Well, first time around, the religious establishment was the group that wanted rid of him. If history were to repeat itself, it would probably be Christians calling for his head on a platter or his body nailed to two-by-fours.

Well, JayDee, I think the daily babblings come equally from Christians and Atheists.

As Ghandi said, "Be the change that you want to see in the world."

No - we're not big fans of all that torturing, drowning, slaughtering, beating, crucifying, and blood-drinking. That's a Christian thing.

I'm not into crucifying people. Not my style. Jesus hasn't done anything to me and I don't hate the man.

But I have no problem blaspheming your god, YHVH.

just because we dont like the guy does not mean that we would kill him.

my bet would be on the christians not believein that he was who he said he was and labeling him a cult leader and killing him..

with the Nazi Pope leading the angry mob.

2007-05-03 18:01:09 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 1 2

No, only a loving father would crucify his son. *snicker*
