No, but there are therapies and techniques to ease the pain of them. Therapy is a good start. DBT is another good way. Generally talking through them and how they make you feel helps. the more you talk about them the easier it becomes to deal with them.

The best way to get rid of them is to deal with ,we all have them but as years pass what seemed really bad then when you look at it now its probably not as bad as you thought.
Dont let memories rule your future or present these thing s happened and that is a fact you cant chnage that they cant do you any harm or hurt except in your mind...Whatever the situation was that caused these cant happen again as you would never put yourself through that again, it cant ouch you all it is, is a memory nothing else so deal with them anyway you can dont torture yourself about them or what ifs or if only's whats done is done and cant be undone....
Put them to rest for good if you can talk about them to someone who will understand get their veiws on it they amy see things in a differen t way and will help you to see thing s from another angle...Be proud of how far you have come and what you have learned from past experinces, stay focused and positive in your outlook stay away from negative people and situations, something at some time will bring bad memories to the surface, but thats all they are memories of a time past, when this happens focus on the here and now and your plans for the future they will disappear, dont let the past hold you back move on good luck........

Yes, I have been successful. My memories still exist, but I now feel distanced from them, and the emotion that went with the trauma has left.
Seeing a counselor, you can talk-through your memories. The action of talking it through will lessen the ongoing intensity (not in that moment, but later, after the process) Speaking of the most horrendous of events and emotions or reactions or fears - cuts their intensity for you, and helps you to put it behind you.
Counselors are trained in assisting a person through this process. I would encourage you to go this path toward healing.

Here is my solution about bad memories of the past:
If you can't forget, forgive it.
If you can't forgive, forget it.
If you can't forgive nor forget it, fight it.
Lift up your head and walk forward.
