a good place to start is to be a responsible person
and know when you cannot drive because you have had too much to drink. people that run bar,s should be held resonsible
also. why?? because if a person is in thier place of busniess
drinking all day, they should relalize that person is not capable of getting behind the wheel of a vehicle. they should call a cab, or offer to call someone to come pick them up.
another way is to cut them off before they get to that point
of intoxication. they have that right to do it. they might lose some custimers, but there would be more people getting home then there would be getting into alcohol related crashes.

i develop into trnding bar even as the regulation develop into 18 in MT and dissimilar seniors managed to bypass to college drung merely about on a daily basis. i develop into also an EMT for over 30 years and performance considered the outcome of ingesting and driving. Alot were adults besides the indisputable fact that the persentage of youthful ones develop into higher. the different side of the tale is you're previous adequate to strive against and die on your us of a at 17 yet not previous adequate to drink yet even contained in the defense force dissimilar the more youthful ones get in worry because of ingesting and extremely frequently driving. heritage also seems to side with the very reality the 18-21 12 months olds do not positioned on a seat belt in the experience that they are ingesting and driving. So sure i'm in favor of creating the ingesting age 21 and through the waqy MT went back to the 21 age for ingesting

Everybody stop, drinking and driving...the penalties for same in some countries(eg Sweden) are so severe that almost noone does it. For some reason I cant figure out the US is still Mommycoddling drunk drivers with wet noodle penalties. The feds have dumped it onto the states..there goes consistancy.

Get the drunks off the road.
1. Mandatory 5-year alco-lock upon first conviction, after a minimum 1-year suspension. (And no "work license" either.)
2. Mandatory lifetime alco-lock and "drunk driver" tags upon second conviction, after a minimum 3-year revocation.
3. Mandatory lifetime lifetime license revocation upon third conviction.

sure....people who drink need to call cabs...and people who don't need to put down their cell phones and pay attention while in they are driving. Also....the government needs to put more money into prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug problems and less into prisons.

Institute a death penalty for drunk driving convictions. That's the only way (at least there won't be any repeat offenders!)
