Nothing scares me more than organized religion. I have my beliefs but I keep them to myself. Organized religion is the devil's work. Most wars (since before Christ) have had some sort of religious ties. The muslim extremist today are spreading fear and death because of their religious beliefs.

So my question is:

How could we disrupt the growth of religion and religious fanatics?

I'm thinking we could provide the entire Mid-East with free cable TV (with all the movie and adult channels). Maybe that would help? Be cheaper and less deadly than the war we are currently fighting.

I think it would be awesome to get rid of organized religion but with all the religious NUTCASES out there, you can't really do it if you wiped out one religion someone would make up a far stupider one so it's pointless
just stay away and try to ignore the nutcases

I see you are thinking. I just think that your tactics are odd.

Here is the issue. Marriage is big business, specifically, getting rid of opposition to marriages that will be popular with the power players in the family is big business. Therefore, people are encouraged to make enemies throughout life so that the marriage brokers will have a reason to get involved and charge a fee (this is how Christianity has been used).

Researching people is part of the problem. People put up with too much invasion of privacy because they get used to signing job contracts (shouldn't have to give over much information for that) and they don't realise that the entire paid and non-profit job market is to maintain the sanctity of marriage - particularly its epitomes as practised by the "upper class." These people have lots of rights but not much freedom, because they are being used to protect the nice sanctimonious imagery.

This is why slavery is not such a bad thing. Everybody is supposed to be protected against mistreatment by law. A slave works for no money, but they get food, lodging etc. and sometimes a lot of privilege with the position. There might be a guarantor to the arrangement. The master is the "lord" spoken of in 2 Peter 2:1 that deceivers deny they have. They like to believe in self-resurrection, instead of saying thank you. This is how paid employment markets itself as being "better" than slavery even though it often involves temptation to compromise. There's nothing wrong with money, but pursuing it is like chasing the wind. Neither the employers of the world nor the employees have more of an idea about living than other people do.

The mark of the beast is the chi xi stigma. This means the stigma of being unmarried and hard-working and involves a prick on the right hand or forehead, which seems a bit archaic in terms of a scientific approach to health. Don't put people down for being unmarried! Respect people's right to have their own feelings, including towards work for the sake of being friendly.

I don't think we can disrupt the growth of religion and their fanatics.(In a moral fashion that is!) Don't get me wrong, I'm religious but I don't take my beliefs to extremes. I think we need to be more open minded and understanding to different belief systems. I don't believe you can take the religiousness out of someone. It's simply a part of their being.

While I think that religions are a sort of parasitic organisations I don't think they are the cause of wars. Wars are caused by people seeking power but they often use religion as a tool to further their aims so your are right they are something to be very wary of
