I was wondering if anyone had a good basic no yeast quick bread recipe, that can be made in to different breads??

I would like to take the same base and add bananas for banana bread, zucchini, cinnamon and cloves for zucchini bread, pumpkin pie filling for pumpkin bread, cranberries for cranberry bread, apples and streusel for apple bread and so on..........So far all the recipes I have found on the net have had so many variation, I would have to make up a new batch for each bread..............Thanks for your answers:)

Cherylly -- I have used this recipe to make the breads you mentioned except the pumpkin but I think it would work also.
2 - cup sugar
1/2 - cup shortening
1 - cup milk
2 - eggs
1 - tea spoon soda
3 - tea spoon baking powder
3 1/3 - cup flour ( all purpose)
1 - tea spoon salt
1/2 - cup chopped nuts ( opticnal )
1 1/2 cup ( mashed banana - grated - zucchini- diced apple - chopped cranberry -
caned pumpkin ) I don't think I would use
pumpkin pie filling . because of the other ingredents in it .I use a large angel food pan for this recipe so it should make 2 loaf pans you be the judge.
I have injoyed this recipe hope you do also

I have one I call 3-2-1 bread. But it has a beer in it, don't know if that would count towards the yeast. But let me know if you want it!
