This Christian doesn't think so. All I want to be is with a happy family discussing logically or reasonably whatever comes to us as mature fun-loving individuals.

Ask Mr. Religion has no idea what he's talking about.

Logic is a form, not a thing that needs to be proven.

By his own arguement, logical arguments like this are false.

if a then b.
a.
therefore b.

If Ask Mr Religion were to be believed, that would be proof that b is impossible.

If Ask Mr Religion's interpretation of what logic is was correct, computers would not work, calculators would not work, watches would not work, electronic circuits would not work, light switches wouldn't work. Actually, no, not only would they not work, but they would be impossible!

We know that the logical form works because it has been tested throughout the ages with good premises that do carry on into good conclusions. We understand the logical fallacies that can happen and we avoid them when making an arguement.

Why is it that Christians continuously hate those who don't have self belief interior the suitable similar challenge as they do. reason each and every time I see an answer about faith in this website from a Christian its continuously some impolite fact that grew to develop into into uncalled for? Why is that? we do not 'hate" you, we purely hit upon your beliefs demanding to swallow. it really is the Christians who dish out more desirable hate at excellent right here than each and each person else. study what you fundies say about Atheists, Wiccans, Pagans etc. i assume it really is yet another case for it really is okay so that you may want to do, yet shame on each and each person else doing it.

I am here as a result of a sexual act between my parents that resulted in my presence on this planet. I have no idea what christians or any other belief system thinks about my existance. It makes no difference to me. My existence here, is simply an opportunity for me to learn how to become the best person I can be. This includes learning humility, loveingness, honor, truthfullness, respect, and acceptance. I can think of no more valuable purpose.

I don't know anything about the cricket world cup thing but no Christians don't think God put atheists and your logic here to test us. I, and please keep in mind this is my own personal opinion, I believe God put you here for us to be a witness to for Him.

No, atheists are here by their own free will. I come here not to be tested, but to learn and share.

Peace and Love.

Non-believers claim that only evidence based upon logic and reason is valid. But how do non-believers validate that claim? They cannot. For if non-believers attempt to justify “logic and reason” by logic and reason, then they have based their entire godless worldview on circular reasoning; and believers find that rational non-belief an impossibility. And if non-believers cannot defend the foundation of their worldview by logic or reason, non-believers leave themselves only with the illogical and irrational, which accounts for arguments actually offered by non-believers.

To justify logic apart from circular reasoning, you must seek the foundation of logic outside of logic itself. Thus we learn that, apart from belief in God, nothing can be truly knowable. If an honest and consistent non-believer could actually exist, that person would not claim that atheism is defensible by logic, since logic itself is indefensible by logic apart from circular reasoning. Therefore on the one hand, if the non-believer claims to know anything at all, the non-believer unwittingly has shown that atheism (the alternative to God) is an impossibility, because apart from God, nothing is knowable.

No, we just see you as the lost looking for answers. Sure, you test us...but ya'll are pretty easy to get through to as opposed to people like my husband who have been indoctrinated into cults. My husband and I used to go round and round about religion and I got tired and I wanted to give up on him, but by God's grace he saved him.

No, we don't.

We feel that either you are searching for real answers - or you have something against God and since you can't get back at Him you go after His children - or you are merely bored and think it funny to insult others.
