All you have to do is explain you are not interested in dating at the moment. You don't want to hurt his feelings & let him know it has nothing to do with him, it's you & how you feel. He can't blame you for feeling like you do, you have your reasons. If you assure him it's not him, you'd just rather not be tied up or available for the dating game at the moment. Don't let it go on any longer, the longer you put it off the harder it w/be. After you've gotten it off "you chest", you'll feel a lot better & relieved knowing you're not hurting anyone & stringing them along unnecessiraly. Honesty is the best policy.

I have been in the same situation. It is okay to be honest. I am not sure how old you are, but I think you need to tell him that you like him, but you don't want a commitment right now, and if he is mature enough he will hopefully understand. Tell him you have a lot of things on your plate, and your just not ready yet, and that you can't fully understand your feelings on why you don't want a relationship, and you wish it was easier to explain. Trust me, you might feel bad about it, and maybe you guys can talk about some kinda agreement,(those are risky though, both of you can get hurt.) just be open and honest with him, see how he feels about the relationship. I hope this helps...

I am in the same situation as you! I just keep casually dropping into conversations that I am not looking for anything serious right now and that I have a lot of fun with him but I am not looking for anything more than that. Just be honest and let him know before he gets too involved or attached.

Why are you going out with someone when you don't want too? You have/had an option in the matter...Did he force you to be with him? If no, then tell him you don't to be with him. YOU HAVE A RIGHT

Just tell him please don't kept this from him. 90% of the time when a guy asks a girl out its because he won't mind her being his gf. So tell him before he grows feelings for you,
