Back in 1970's when Perrier was all the rage, I did drink quite alot of it, I have had alomost all the available mineral waters around, I also have had San Pellegrino, they do not add salt these are both natural spring waters that have had CO2 added to carbonate them.
You get the same thing from club soda, and here in Canada we have sodium free club soda, in the US, I would imagine the the Canada Dry has a salt-free brand.

Oh my heavens...yes you can buy them locally - assuming you are a US resident. They do not have caffeine. They are carbonated H2O. They are not unhealthy - it is like drinking water. I do perfer pelligrino. I think it has a slightly citrus undertaste that just melts perfectly. Also, at least in NJ where I am at, Pellegrino is cheaper the Perrier's. You should be able to buy them at the grocery store. I have gone to hole in the wall convenience stores and gotten them and gone to restaurants where the average mean is twenty five bucks plus and they dont have them. You will really just have to ask. In NJ, Shop Rite is the most expensive and they have them; as do ACME and Ginuardis.

Either is fine with me, but I prefer Perrier. I don't know why, maybe just because it's easier to find.

i love Pellegrino, seems to have a bit more flavor. The plastic 750 ml bottles keep their fizz forever. Seems like the lids on the glass ones are sucky
