First of all I would like to say If people can't accept you for who you are and how you have decorated YOUR body, then that's their problem. But if your really concerned about your appearance at this wedding, wear colored Leotards. They're thicker then pantyhose and should cover up your tattoos, also try a light shirt or sweater? Ask sales person for help on matching up with your outfit.

Looks that this is a wedding where the attendants will get all crazed up about you being tattooed and all so I recommend since you have to go...cover your tat's with clothes like you have done before I am sure you will find the most appropriate clothes for the event....as for putting makeup over them that is not advisible..like you said it can wear off with sweat and that would be more embarrassing than having to show your tat's..

Like some other readers said if you are going to a friends or family wedding then they know you have tat2 (or do they?) but I can understand how stereotyping can be..so try to find a nice decent long sleeve blouse and sleek pants that would solve the problem don't get all stressed out about it!
enjoy the wedding!

Dressy pants are fine for a wedding. If it's a daytime wedding I'd probably choose a wide-leg pair in a light fabric like linen. For an evening wedding, a pair of silk trousers or a long skirt in a flowy fabric. Depending on how formal the wedding is, you could wear a fancy blouse or a boat-neck top.

I don't think you should be ashamed if your tattoos if you love them, but it's rude to do anything that takes attention away from the bride and groom at a wedding.

Don't panic. Have fun!

Try using a cosmetic product called DERMABLEND. You can get this at department stores like Macy's, Robinsons May, etc. Professional Hollywood Make-up artists use Dermabelnd to cover up tattoos and other skin imperfection and they will not disappear with sweating...some are even formulated to be waterproof! Go check this out, they are also inexpensive, just make sure you select the right shade that would match your skin color. If this will not work, i say, flaunt your tattoos and show the world that you are a beautiful, unique individual! Ciao!

Um, since when does having tattoos make someone a dyke? Why did you get them in such visible places if you were just going to cover them up all the time? If you wanted a tattoo that no one would EVER see, (unless you wanted them to), you should've put it on your butt.
I say just wear what you want, and if they show, so be it. Wear your art proudly!

Show your tattoos at the wedding. Who cares what people think.

If you do need to cover them, and can't with the dress you have (or a pantsuit), try dermablend make up. It will cover just about any tattoo

Have you tried DermaBlend cosmetics? It's made specifically for covering tatoos and is sweatproof, waterproof, everything proof. It really works and can only be removed with their special removal cleanser. Great for hiding any skin perfection as well. Not too expensive. Can be found on the internet or any department store.

Wear a long skirt and top with 3/4 or so length sleeves. I guess I dont understand why you got them if you feel the need to hide them from everyone. If these are your friends then they know you have them already right?

I know what you can do.... You can just go, don't cover them up & if someone has a problem with it, who cares. I'm sure you got them because they mean something to you, so why not show them off? Don't be so worried what other people think of you. You don't have to go home at night & live with them, so who really cares what their opinions are.

Be strong & stand up for yourself. Don't try to hide who you are just for the sake of other people.

Hope it helps boost your confidence a bit.

Good god, you have no self worth do you? Why do you care SO much about what people think of you?

Sounds to me like you should have never gotten tattoos in the first place.
