is starting to get feelings for you? How would you know if a man you have been "dating" for 5 1/2 months now is starting to care about you and have feelings for you? What kind of signs will he show? As far as the things he says and does? When I first started dating him he never really asked where I was if I missed his call now he does, what do you think? If he asks where you are when you miss his call, either he cares about you or is becoming more possessive of you and/or is afraid you're cheating on him...which might be because he's cheating on you and is paranoid that you'll do the same thing to him.
There's no way to tell from what little you've said which of these options it is.

I think if he had no feelings for you by 5 1/2 months into a relationship, you should run the other way.

If you've been dating for almost 6 months and you're not sure whether or not he has feelings for you, then something's not quite right there. By this point, you should be comfortable enough to just sit down and ask him how he feels. Start the conversation by telling him how *you* feel. If you can't do this, or if he reacts negatively to your attempt to broach the subject, then it's probably time to look elsewhere because this guy has commitment issues.

Sounds like it to me. Sometimes it takes people longer than others to warm up, especially if they've been hurt before. Just continue to take things slow and at his pace. But, remember that you can't wait on him for ever to make up his mind. You may have to push the conversation further and just be blunt, put him on the spot. Either he has feelings for you or he doesn't. Its not really fair of him to keep stringing you along if he can't make up his mind. He should at least have some sort of idea by now to give you a definite answer. If not, he's got committment issues. Just ask him and see what he says.

After 5 months!!!!! Err....I thought the only reason your with someone is that you have feelings for them.
The answer is yes or no. I could say sure, he cares about you but then again i could say no, because even wife beaters always want to know where their wife is. He could just be getting used to your presence...which doesn't nessecarily means he cares about you-he could just care about himself.

There are many signs and that depends on the guy/girl. Jealousy is not a sign of love. You should ask him or relax.

however you do not seem to be developing these feelings back so you had better end it before you hurt him badly.
