Who obviously don't believe in God and believe in an imaginary friend instead even on the spiritual/religion board? Let me just give you a little snip-it of why I'm here. 3 months ago I was healed through prayer healing. I was not incontrol of any of my muscles due to constant spasams and I couldn't even pick my 2 year old up or tie his shoes. During the prayer I stopped shaking and haven't shaken since. And after I asked my question about prayer healing wanting to help another loved one, and recieving a few wise acre comments the phone rang and what do you know I have been informed that there is a class on it at a near by church and a friend of mine wanted me to go with her. God is powerful and he hears all. He answers all even though we may not like the answer. It can't always be yes. I pray that the few of you on here that are afraid of not controling your life that you will find that with God you are not left with wanting. God provides all things.

I so totally agree! I'm in love with Jesus and through him and praying I've been opened to God's love and am a tool for spreading Jesus message with my pastor to other members of our church. When you give like I do, its natural that you will also receive. So I get the joy of God both ways! I'll pray for you and even those who cannot imagine the pleasure of being filled with the love of God and the Holy Spirit! AMEN!

How do you know that you were healed? How do you know that this healing was a direct result of prayer? How do you know that this god is responsible for the healing? I have close family who also believe in healing, so I am quite familiar with this topic.

Imagine for a moment that you feel stressed out. I ask you to close your eyes, count backwards from 10 to 1, and take deep slow breaths. I wave my magic wand over your head, and afterwards you feel like your anxiety has gone. Did I heal you? Maybe it was God working through me. Or perhaps the wand is actually magical. Or how about witchcraft?

The truth would be that I assisted in the act of you healing yourself using a proven technique. I COULD say that my god healed you. You were healed, so it MUST be my god, right? No, we should learn to research things that are mysterious rather than offering credit to mythological beings.

I am not a religious person , I do wonder however if you have gone to the Dr. about your muscle spasams! There are a number of diseases out there that carry the same symtoms that you describe! Some of these illnesses go away for weeks and even months at a time only to return, and come back worse. Have your faith, BUT PLEASE SEE A DR.!

I think its wonderful that you have found comfort and faith in God , I have as well. However, others may seek and/or find this same comfort in other forms of religion or spirituality. I believe they are just as entitled to thier opinion and the expression of thier beliefs as we are. Just because someones religion or spiritual belief is not in line with my own doesn't mean its not a religion or spiritual belief.

*Sigh*
So, you are assuming that because one does not share the same belief in YOUR god, they have no place on a public forum?

Many people are knowledgable about religions, without being a part of the religion. People can be spiritual, without having a belief in god.

Your problem if you believe in delusional and freakish imaginary beings......not mine.

If you still think the tooth fairy left you a dollar bill, rest assured that people won't expect too much from you.

Thank you for your testimony. Awesome! I love hearing about the good in our healer. Prayer is the most powerful thing we have against evil. That is our shield as the Bible is our sword. Be Bless and again thanks.
