We are not meant to know when the rapture will come. However certain things need to be in place before it happens and those things have not happened yet. Many people have studied this, but we are never meant to know when it is coming.
One of your answers state that the word rapture is not in Revelations. This is true. However, even if the word rapture is not used; the rapture is described in scripture.

According to the Bible, the rapture happened in the first century BCE. Jesus told a crowd that some of them would live to see it. That puts a pretty limited time frame on it. There are no records because that many people were getting killed all the time and they didn't have FOX news. Mnt Vesuvius erupting might have got the headlines that week.

Why are people fooled by this Rapture cult?
When the Japanese got nuked, they left the earth at 1/1,000,000 of a second, that was in a twinkle of an eye. How fast do you think the so-called Rapture will take?
What Bible do people read that even says any thing about a Rapture? Very well then, when you realize you been fooled into believing that cult, Remember I told you so...

right after the seventh trumpet and the two witnesses go in a cloud for when they get to heaven the scripture says.
Revelation 11:12-19 (New King James Version)
New King James Version (NKJV)
Copyright © 1982 by Thomas Nelson, Inc.
[NKJV at Thomas Nelson] [Thomas Nelson, Inc.]
12 And they[a] heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. 13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.
Seventh Trumpet: The Kingdom Proclaimed
15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms[b] of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:
“ We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
The One who is and who was and who is to come,[c]
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant[d] was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
As to when that is well Jesus said he would return way before people knew he would.

No way to say exactly when but I have had many dreams on it and seriously think it will be in my lifetime. Thank you for putting that word Rapture up there. My good friend and I couldn't think of it all day.

According to the original manuscripts of the Bible: NEVER.
Christ will gather back to us, but he's coming here, nobody is going anywhere else. And, Christ will not gather back to us until AFTER Antichrist sits in Jerusalem professing that he is Jesus Christ.
Mark 13 has a good chronological order of events that lead up to the return of the true Christ: there is nothing listed that indicates that any portion of the population will be missing or raptured. Its not written.
Those who buy that garbage from 1Thessalonians obviously have not read the second letter Paul wrote to them, that states that you should not be deceived, even from a letter from him, but that Christ will not return until after Antichrist comes.
We have work to do; what good will it do to be floating out somewhere in space?
People who believe that God is not able to protect them, should be ashamed of themselves.
But why isn't the church mentioned after chapter 3 of Revelation? Aren't they raptured? No, they are not mentioned because they are deceived, and not worthy to be called a "church". The Church was not called "up hither", it was John. Not plural the church, but singular, just John.
If you want to know how God feels about the rapture doctrine, you can read it for yourself in Ezekiel 13:18: "I hate those who teach my children to fly to save their souls".
In the Book of Daniel, the three hebrew children are thrown into the furnace of fire;
King Neb quickly gets them out of there, because he sees four figures in the fire.
When they are taken out, not even the smell of smoke is on their clothing: God can protect his own even if they are in hell's fire itself.
What a blatent insult to God to want to escape from doing Gods Work in these end times. There are no words to describe the
insult that it is to God.
You know those two working in the field, and the two grinding at the mill - one is taken, the other is left? Well, if ya back up to capture the subject and object of what is being discussed, you will see the subject is the Antichrist coming first, before the true Christ. YOU WANT TO BE THE ONE LEFT BEHIND, BECAUSE THE ONES TAKEN ARE TAKEN BY ANTICHRIST.
Can't people read plain English anymore?

Lets get our facts steight on what the bible says and does NOT say, and one thing it does NOT say is the word "rapture" and NO WHERE does it say Christ' return is in secret, but lets review what The Holy Bible DOES SAY shall we, In Luke 17, in verse 21 it talks about Noah [No-e same name] and in verse 29 it talks about Sodom and in verses 34-37 and "IF" you don't stop at verse 36 but read 37 also it says [Jesus speaking] when asked taken where He replyed they were taken IN DEATH, and as for when Jesus comes in everyones lifetime, perhaps at the end but He does come in everyones lifetime, the question is not if He will come but "ARE YOU READY for when [NOT IF] He does return? We have no idea. It could happen tonight, or it could happen
100 years from now. Remember a day with the Lord is as
a 1,000 years. So, He's only been gone 2 days on the Lord's
time table.
