Butter offers no protection from the harmful UV Rays and you might attract flies.

absolutely DO NOT DO IT!!!! i knew some girls in high school that used cooking grease, they got burned so bad, i mean the skin literally burned off and they had blisters. think about it, what happens to the skin of a chicken when you drop it in hot oil? do you really want to do that to yourself, because butter is not far from being an oil, it has oil in it.

Are you an egg that wants to be fried. What's with folks that sit in the sun to change the color of their skin. I never did understand that. Just love the color God made you.

Yeah I think it's a great idea, try using a baster and brush to get all the hard to reach spots, Oh my bad, I'm thinking of a turkey dinner!

Yes it does work but it attracts flies and also it will smell.

Try:
A sunscreen that has a tanning lotion in it- it will speed up the process!
