Hah-hah-ha-ha! LOL!! ROFLMAO!

Here we go again, the Democrats want to scare people with the report that President Bush is going to restart the draft!!

Funny thing, though -- the President CANNOT start the draft. Under the Separation of Powers of the Constitution of the United States, that task is reserved exclusively for CONGRESS.

So, if the draft should get restarted, it will be the DEMOCRATS who start it.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it, libtards.

The draft will probably start up as soon as a Democrat
is elected as President, their excuse will be

"The previous administration has left us no alternative except
to reinstate the draft so that we can end this war"

Being that the Dems have control over Congress, it will get
passed.

I hope that it does because all of the LIBS are calling for
the Republicans send their kids and I want to see if there
is an equal call for the Dems to send theirs. I already know
there answer.

Why should they have to send their kids, this is Bush's war

Duh, yeah but is the DEMS DRAFT!!

Quit drinking the Lib Dem kool-aid!

This is a false flag issue raised by the Dems as their attempt to puss out of Iraq and the world is failing and the people of the USA wake up and see them for the self-serving leaches that they are.

There ain't gonna be no Draft sweetie.

Ret. USAF SNCO, too young for the draft to old for registration but did more than 20!

From what I heard that in 2009 that congress was going to reinstate the draft test, I believe if this continues through 2009 then I believe we might be in for a draft.

If Libs are in charge of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, there is a good chance. Remember Rangle wants a draft but a Republican President is standing in the way. You get a Lib in the White House I hope you have good running shoes when you flee to Canada. Oh, and women are going to get drafted too there sunshine.

I would love to see us bring back the draft as "Compulsory National Service" where everyone from 18-21 must go through basic military training and then serve their country in some capacity. Nothing brings people together like shared service in a common cause. I have had good friendships with both liberals and conservatives over the years because of my military service.

Unfortunately, GWB has mismanaged this war so badly that I am sure if I want HIM to be the one to re-instate the draft because he'd screw that up too.

It is a Democrat that is proposing such an action. Charlie Rengal (sp) some Congressman from New York wants to do that. It would not be Bush, since he wants to veto it.

I don't know, Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) proposed it in 2003, but it failed miserably, and a similar bill in the Senate failed at the same time. The President has assured a veto on such a thing so I don't think we will see one for quite some time, unless of course one of Rangels buddies is elected in '08 and they keep control of congress.

I seriously doubt that a draft is going to be put into effect. They will only do that in dier situations.
