I woke up this morning to find 3 huge zits on my face!! I've been using pro-active for months now, and it seems to do clearly nothing to my face!!! I've also tried Burt's Bees Blemish stick, because thats what my friend suggested to me, but that don't work, and neither does zap zyte or clear zit, or anything else i've tried. I've heard pple say the pro-active refining mask works, but i'd like to know where else to get it besides having to go all the way to the dern mall! and im not taking chances with the tooth paste thing, i would take the chance any other time, but i want something thats an actual acne treatmeant that will completely get rid of it over night. If no one can help me, can someone at least tell me where to get the pro-active refining mask besides the mall, if there is another place...thanks.

I don't know of any brick & mortar stores that carry ProActive.

I recommend Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask. It has benzoyl peroxide & clay. I prefer to use it as a mask.

Dessert Essence blemish treatment stick is the best one I've found. (available @ Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, etc.)

Plain Milk of Magnesia is safe to wear overnight - it absorbs oil.

Hydrocortisone 1% will help reduce swelling. See dermatologist if you can - a doctor can give you a shot of cortisone to reduce the swelling.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

dont use the burts bees blemish stick withthe proactive. the blemish stick is oil based and with proactive if you use an oil based product with it you can break out. so stop using the blemish stick. and try to cover it up with liquid foundation then a powder.. make sure all of the makeup is the exact color of your skin and you should be fine!

crush up an aspirin and put in a little water until it's like paste. dab it on your zits for 10 or 15 mins. and the swelling and redness will reduce. then just wipe it off. hope it works. (have fun at prom!)

Tea tree oil!! It works really well for me. It wont go away over night, but it will dry it out pretty fast. Try to relax, its probably because you are stressing out.

i use clearisil ultra cream and over night it really reduces your zits dramatically (with the 3 day formula) and there is also one, just at drug stores that will work over night. i find them both helpful, where i didn't find proactiv helpful at all.
