Isnt she kind of a drama queen? I mean her dad drove himself to the hospital, its not like he was so bad off he couldnt make it there? Also I dont knwo many people that freak out before they knwo all the facts about a loved one in the hospital.

From what I read, she got what she deserved. The cop was suspended for 7 days. which was not right he was just doing his job. She was driving 30 mph over the spend limit.

Not just a drama queen........
She had a family emergency and instead of contacting the fire department for quick transportation with qualified medical personnel on board, she decided to drive herself.
Not having the proper training to drive under stressful conditions she put a whole roadway of people in jeopardy. Not to mention that she doesn't have them pretty lights on top, so either she had to stop for signals (wasting time) or placed more people in peril.
Because she thought she could do it better? I suppose she could have performed CPR one-handed while maneuvering through traffic?
That is what emergency services are for........

Wow, how insensitive are you? I disagree I don't think that she is a drama queen at all, and thank god he was able to drive hisself to the hospital, but nevertheless just because he was able to drive hisself to the hospital I don't think that his health situation should be taken any less serious then if he had to be brought to the hospital by the paramedics. I guess noone that has responded listens to the news and hears how LAPD harasses people. If she hadn't fled the officer would of probably kept her there for an excessive amount of time on purpose.

I saw on court tv the charges were dropped.A heart attack is not a causal illness. It 's a serious illness that decides if you live or die. A lot of times these hospitals do not have the person's medical history. I think she did what was in the best interest of all and what anyone would do.

She was overreacting. I get very concerned about my family members when they are in the hospital. Not to the point where I ran from police, but have had a speeding ticket.

If it was my dad i would do what i had to if he needed my help it's called unconditional love and total devotion to your family. So ya if i was drivin my dad to a hospital and thought he was having a heart attack i wouldnt stop till i knew he was in good hands.

sounds like she is very emotional and very connected to her father, i think though if she was that way(and I am sure she knew that ) then she should have had someone else take her. It does not really excuse her actions, she may get out of the speeding thing, but not the fleeing and eluding.

I feel that under certain circumstances, people should not have to obey certain laws, and just continue putting innocent bystanders in jeopardy. The Police should just assume that if someone doesn't want to stop, they obviously have an emergency, and do not need any assistance, or interference.
O.K., you do realize I'm full of s*** at this point.
