Gas hit $3.51 this week where I live. Yes, it does start to add up and cut into the budget. No more recreational driving in our household. Staying closer to home and not taking weekend drive get-aways like we once did.

Yes. My husband couldn't find a decent job around our area, so he has to drive 90 miles a day to and from work. He uses about $175 a month just for gas. The sad part is if we sold the house we own now and bought one in the same town he works, we'd be basically buying a shack for what we paid for our house.$150,000 doesn't buy much in the big cities.

Well hell yes. I am a moble mechanic and go to you if your car is broken. I have to drive your car.It used to be a delight to do this, but the price of gas is so high that now I have to charge a service call.
Untill we all stand up and say eneff is eneff and raise hell then we will all suffer for the few that controll us all.

not even in the slightest bit.
my girlfreind cut her coffee intake by like 20% and that money fills her tank more than it needs to.
mochas are like 35 bucks a gallon if you look at it in the same unit gas is hella cheap.
AND its been months since it was below 3.29 a gallon here in Alaska. i just paid 3.49 per to fill my truck. 32 gallon tank it was like 107 bucks or so. should last a week... maybe.
