Do u really believe that all war is caused by religion? In the Middle East are there not muslims at war with muslims. Didnt England & the Falklands went to war? How about the American civil war, & the War of Independence between America & England? Are these countries not predominately christian?
I can name numerous wars that were fought between countries of the same religious persuasion in the last six hundred years. England & Spain, England & France...er...England & practically everybody. India & Paskistan...

You are an idealist - and if I'm reading you correctly a man after my own heart.
However, no. There will always be wars - because within the one religion would grow factions that hate one another, i.e. Catholocism/Protestants (even before the reformation with the anabaptists) and Sunni/Shiite Muslims.
But, if the church would actually follow the teachings of Jesus and stop giving him lip service, then there would be a lot fewer wars.
Also, religion does not play as big as a role in war as some would believe. It is usually just what politicians use as their propaganda to justify their selfish means. It usually has something to do with economy or money. Who wants to die for the economy? Not many. Who will die for God? Anybody who believes in him enough, but gullible enough to believe that their nation is the only good guys and has a "divine might" or a "manifest destiny."

The war would still exist. Haven't you noticed that every single religion has over the time divided into different sects? So your dream of one religion for the world will remain a pipe dream....

War doesn't exist because of religion. War exists because carnality of peoples minds, the greed in people's hearts and the love for money and power. So to answer your question, yes, definitely.

Good question! Even though people would all have the same religion people tend to take out the parts that they like and kick out the parts that they don't...somehow creating their own mini religion. I believe we all started with the same religion at one time, like it said in the bible....but you see what happened, people began to do what they felt suited them better and this is when the fighting began. God never intended people to be this way and he said in his commandments that we should not have any other God's before him, however people create their own God's everyday and God can not protect those that do not believe in him.

Humans often have conflicts completely unrelated to religion. Also, human nature is selfishness. Of course there would still be wars. We have already had many wars completely unrelated to religion.

We'd have wars, but they just wouldn't be religious wars. Look at all the wars that took place in the Middle Ages among nominally Roman Catholic monarchs and nobles, and even among competing popes.
